Unfortunately the costs for Niobium are slowly going higher and higher with each wire order. We held off raising our prices as long as we could, but unfortunately the time has come. We are very proud of our quality, and we are one of two companies that will saw cut this difficult metal. We will continue to search for other supply possibilities, and hopefully can hold this price for as long as possible!

STEP BY STEP WIRE JEWELRY COVER PAGE PROJECT -
We have fielded MANY MANY emails about this project so far. They are calling it "Colorful Foxtail Necklace", but we all know it as Full Persian. The article is recommending 8 gauge 25mm (1 inch) anodized NIOBIUM rings. This MUST be an error because we have never found a supplier for 8 gauge Niobium, and the colours shown in the photo are NOT tones that Niobium can be coloured. We are thinking these rings are likely anodized ALUMINUM. We contacted the store listed as a supplier and they are charging $0.85 PER RING, with a price break of $0.65 each over 100 rings. With ONE INCH rings this necklace is going to be HUGE... At LEAST 2" in diameter!
WE ARE RECOMMENDING THE 16g 5/16" ANODIZED ALUMINUM for this project. This will make a LARGE chain in diameter too == It's the same size we normally sell as a wallet chain, as most people think it is too big for a necklace.
To make a smaller size, 20g 5/32" is our favourite in most metals!
